Vallecitos Mountain Ranch
In the past I have offered a 5-day retreat, The Art of Pilgrimage: Walking the Wild Path at Vallecitos with long-time friend and colleague Don Usner. Unfortuatley, in 2012 I will not be offering a program there. Click here to see what I am offering in 2012: Workshops & Retreats with Steven Harper
The Vallecitos Mountain Ranch is a wilderness ranch and contemplative center located high in the Rocky Mountains of northern New Mexico. Vallecitos is a spectacular 135-acre wildlife refuge and mountain sanctuary and the ideal refuge for solitude, quiet, meditation, healing, reflection, renewal, and exploring the beauty of wild nature. Founded in 1993, the Vallecitos Mountain Ranch has been serving the progressive nonprofit communities, meditation retreats, and contemplative workshops as a place of refuge.
The Vallecitos Lodge was built in 1928 and was patterned after the classic lodge in Yellowstone National Park.
Located high in the Rocky Mountains at 8,800 feet Vallecitos is surrounded by 300,000 acres of the Carson National Forest. The Vallecitos River runs through the middle of the refuge.

Cabins are setback in the woods behind the lodge. Single occupancy rooms will allow personal time for integrating our experience.
